VLV Nov Week 4 - Poppy Birthday

Another fun sketch, this one is VLV Nov Week 4 designed by Teresa Kline and for me, it's another Happy Birthday card to my collection. Here is my take on it....
So happy to have a chance to play with another stamp set, this one is called: Poppy Birthday by Verve plus use one of my favorite DSP paper sets: Modern Medley (SU).

Love this Occasion Frame Die which is in Cherry Cobbler and matching stamp image comes from the On Occasion stamp set. For the poppy, I used Real Red and Tuxedo Black ink and added some liquid pearl in the center. The leaves were stamped in Wild Wasabi and used the matching marker to color in the white areas.

For more details on this challenge check out the Viva la Verve Master Challenge thread for all the details on this monthly challenge and a chance to win a Verve gift certificate plus have fun in the process.

VLV Nov Week 3 - Robot Birthday Wishes

Here is another card I made to add to my little birthday boy card collection using VLV Nov week 3 sketch designed by Anya Schrier. This was so much fun coloring and adding the little metal mix sequins.
Here is my card:
Again using up some paper in my stash and loving all of the gears and colors. For this card, I used the same stamp set: Birthday Bots and added some extra gears using the Geared Up stamp set by Verve along with circle punches to cut them out and pop them up using foam mount.

Here I colored them with my spectrum noir markers using the same colors as in my previous card and added some hemp cord twine, button, and liquid pearl (white opal) along with basic rhinestones to finish it off.

VLV Nov Week2 - Birthday Bots

I love banners, circles, and shapes, so it was a great opportunity to play with the sketch based on the VLV Nov week 2 designed by Christyne Kane and also play with  Shape Up November Diva Dare.  This month's dare is to feature a common shape on your card (think hexagons, chevrons, arrows, triangles, hearts, stars, etc.)
Here is my card below:
When I saw this paper with gears, I thought it would be perfect with a new stamp set I got called Birthday Bots by Verve, plus it helps to add more birthday boy cards to my collection. Fun to add some metal mix sequins. Common shapes are circles and banners. Used my spectrum noir markers to color the image using (BT2, BT4, BT9, IG1, IG3, CT2, CT4, CR7, DR3, DR6)

VLV Nov Week1 - Happy Holidays

I love banners and it was a great opportunity to play with some for the VLV Nov week 1 sketch designed by Teresa Kline and get another Christmas card done. Also, play with new stamps and dies again.

Here is my card:
Love the color blue along with snowflakes for Christmas and so happy I have left over paper from the collection Wonderland (ctmh) which I combined with Chocolate cardstock. I combined two stamp sets from Verve to complete this card. For the snowflakes and sentiment, I used Holiday Treats and for the reindeer, I used Unto Us along with the Reindeer Fun Die to cut it out.

For the snowflakes, I used white embossing powder, Crystal Blue cardstock, and Frosty Snowflakes die (Verve) plus some foam mount to pop them up.

For more details on this challenge check out the Viva la Verve Master Challenge thread for all the details on this monthly challenge and a chance to win a Verve gift certificate plus have fun in the process.

MOJO318 - Happy Birthday with Love

Just a quick post ...I purchased some new stamp sets and dies and wanted to use them so the Mojo Monday 318 sketch was perfect for using some fun new stamps, dies, tags, glitter, paper.
Here is my card:
Pulled out some old retired ctmh paper called: Sweetheart which I love the colors and played around with some Martha Stewart glitter along with a new stamp set released by Verve, this one is called: Chevron Love that has these cute hearts.

After I created the layered hearts, I went looking for a matching cardstock to match the blue glitter and found that Island Indigo from SU matched perfectly, so I used that as a mat behind the tag.
