Sending Hugs on Your Birthday

Absolutely love this photo inspiration, so wanted to do another birthday card and join the fun over at the Sparkle & Shine Challenge and their 6th challenge along with Seize Your Birthday and "Anything Goes" and Word Art Wednesday #184
Here is my card:
Plus this was a great opportunity to try this fun tri-fold card inspired by Julie Ebersole's  from the last Online Card Class: Stretch Your Dies. I did have to alter the measurements to accommodate this word, but it worked in the end after a few tries. Also, die-cut the word and couple more times and stacked them together to pop the word up just a little more.

Here is the view when you open this card and was so much fun playing with the new stamp set from Winnie and Walter called: In BloomLola's Bouquet stamp set designed by Joni Andaya along with the set called: The Big, The Bold and Friends for the sentiments.

Added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins and some washi tape to finish this card off and focus on the center.

For the inside, I grabbed the set from Mama Elephant called: Photo Bomb to stamp the "Happy Birthday" and than used the set from: The Big, Bold, and Extras to add this adorable flower.

As always, if you haven't checked out the challenge sites, go check them out to see all the wonderful ideas and inspiration.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: The Big, Bold, and Friends, The Big, Bold, and Extra's, In Bloom: Lola's Bouquet (Winne & Walter), Photo Bomb (Mama Elephant)

Sending Love on Your Birthday

Got a chance to play with this adorable set again along with some other new craft goodies I recently got and joining the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge of using Stencil along with Seize your Birthday of "Anything Goes". and Word Art Wednesday #184
Here is my card:
Love this adorable stamp set called: Lila's Heart from the SSS Falling For You collection and wanted to use my distress inks once again to create this background. Afterward, used the Falling Hearts stencil along with white embossing paste. Started with the Blueprints 20 to get a white scallop base and than went on to create this frame.

Frame was created by first stamping Tiny Alphabet background stamp using white pigment ink and black licorice card stock which was cut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies by Simon Says Stamp which I love. Added foam mount to pop it up.

Colored this adorable girl along with the balloons using Copic Markers but for her dress, I used distress ink to try and match with the background created and also popped her up using foam mount. Added the sentiments from the same stamp set along with "Happy Birthday" from the stamp set: Circle Sayings also from the SSS Falling For You collection.

As always, if you haven't checked out the challenge sites, go check them out to see all the wonder ideas and inspiration.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Lila's Heart (SSS), Circle Sayings (SSS)

Sending Smiles and Hugs on Your Birthday

When I saw the new challenge over at Sparkle and Shine with this photo inspiration and challenge #6 I thought it would be perfect to use some of my new crafty stuff I bought myself for a Happy Birthday card I need to send out. Also, joining Seize the Birthday this week
Here is my card:
I love this paper from My Mind's Eye (Fancy That) and since I had it out on my crafty table, I thought it would be perfect to use for this card. Also, used the new In Bloom: Maggie's Roses Cutaway along with vellum and gold foil paper.

For the sentiments, I used the new Friends Cutaways along with Cream colored card stock from my May SSS Kit.
Since I wanted to pop up the flower, I cut out 4 more vellum base roses and stacked them together. This way the adhesive doesn't show and adds some dimension to the flower. For the words, I stacked two together to raise it just a bit. Final touch added some gold sequins.

As always, if you haven't checked out the challenge sites, go check them out to see all the wonderful ideas and inspiration.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: The Big, the Bold and Friends (Winne&Walter),

Was able to finish this card for my super sweet sister for Mother's Day and also joining the

Here is my card:
I must say, I've been wanting this set for a long time from Mama Elephant called: Photo Bomb and thrilled to color all of these little boys and girls. I will admit it took me some time to color them and trying to decide what colors, but as you keep going, you see this come to life and smile when done.

Here I created my own little square frame since I wanted stitching around it so I pulled out the Simon Says Stitched Square frames to help me. These dies provide a stitched look on the outside as well as on the inside, so I also ran the die again using black. Added foam mount to pop up the frame.

Added the sentiments from the set called: Happy Everything using Ripe Raspberry ink and than white embossed the smaller words.

MOJO Monday 396 - Happy Mother's Day using new set Lila's Heart

Wanted to play with some of my new stuff and was able to finish another Mother's Day card I needed using the MOJO Monday 396 sketch designed by Julee Tilman. Also, joining the Simon Says Stamps Wednesday challenge which is to use a sentiments.
Here is my card
Love this paper called Fancy That when I received the May SSS kit and wanted to create a Mother's Day card for my daughter so used one of the new sets from the Simon Says Stamps Falling For You collection called: Lila's Heart.

Colored her with my copic markers and than paper pieced the heart using gold foil paper. Loving the new Diagonal Stripes background from SSS which I embossed in gold to use for the bottom slant area of the sketch.

For the sentiment, I used the Mini Doily Circles from MFT and grabbed another SSS stamp set called: Sparkle and Shine for the saying "You're the Best". I must say my daughter saw this and loved all the gold and cute little girl.

Got some new stuff so decided to play and came up with this card for Mother's Day since it's coming around the corner and need to get a move on it. Here I started with Blueprints 13 along with some Grout Gray card stock.

Next, I used one of the new colors I received called Summer Splash along with Simply Circle Background and went with a tone on tone look.
Colored in these gorgeous tulips from the set: Spring Tulips using my copic markers and than went on to create this tag. Die cut a stitched tag in white and than used the same tag to cut a smaller portion using Tickled Pink
