Pretty Pink Posh New Release Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of the blog hop showcasing Pretty Pink Posh's new release with tons of fun and inspiration. Plus prizes to be won along the way.

You should have arrived from Pretty Pink Posh's Blog, but if you get lost, no worries, there is a complete line up list below so you can stay on track during the blog hop.
I'm beyond thrilled to share these two cards with you today, so let's get started.

I'm so excited with the new release and the addition of new jewels in so many colors that I couldn't resist but to use on each card. Here I started with this amazing
Happy Easter Shaker die as it has so many beautiful details so I kept it clean and simple.

For this card, I started by first adding some grass at the bottom using ink and blending the color in. Next, I placed the Happy Easter Shaker die in the center of the card to die cut the easter egg.

I put the easter egg aside while I created a background using alcohol inks which I than adhered to the opening. From there, I placed and glued down the easter egg back into the opening.

Now comes the fun part of adding several new jewel WatermelonAmethystLemon DropShamrock, and Pink Blush around the entire egg. So much fun!! Afterwards, I used my B000 copic marker along with colorless blender to go around the egg to add a shadow around it.

Couldn't resist but to use this new Bunny Friends stamp set as it's so adorable and thought it would be perfect to add to this card. Also used the Coordinating die to help me cut the image out as well as adding a few little easter eggs from the Easter Friends set to finish this card.

Moving onto the second card for the day....
Again, I couldn't resist but to use this new Bunny Friends stamp set as it's so adorable and has a variety of cute flowers to color in and create scenes. For this card, I started off by creating some grass using the Scallop Border to die cut two strips.

Next, I grabbed these fabulous new Decorative Eggs as it comes with different designs to play with. Therefore, I created another alcohol background and used the solid egg die from the set to cut two of them. Next, I added the decorative dies on top to complete the eggs.

As I mentioned before, I'm in love with the new addition of all of the jewels, so on this card, I decided to add Pink Blush around both eggs.  Added foam mount tape under the bunny in the middle and underneath the top row of the grass in front to add a little more dimension.

For the sentiment, I used the new Encouraging Greetings as I thought it would be perfect with all of these bunnies and love the saying of Friends makes everything better.

Pretty Pink Posh New Release Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of the blog hop showcasing Pretty Pink Posh's new release with tons of fun and inspiration. Plus prizes to be won as Pretty Pink Posh celebrates turning 4.

You should have arrived from the talented Crystal Thompson, but if you get lost, no worries, there is a complete line up list below so you can stay on track during the blog hop.

I'm beyond thrilled to share these three cards with you today, so let's get started.

As you know I love creating shaker cards and using storybook dies, so I decided to create two birthday cards using the new Storybook 6 in celebration of Pretty Pink Posh turning 4.

Also, I'm loving this new fabulous Birthday Friends set where it comes with four adorable little kids to choose from along with balloons, hats, presents, and a cake. Here, I used the Coordinating Die to help me cut out all the images after coloring them using my Copic markers.

To fill in this shaker, I used the new Northwest Sequins Mix and was excited to see a combination of different sizes along with 4mm clear droplets. Keep in mind, this is a limited edition and was perfect to create a neutral birthday card for either girl or boy.

Moving onto the second card for the day....

Once again, I used this adorable Birthday Friends set as I find it perfect for any birthday celebration and adore using the balloons and hats. Also, used the Coordinating Die to help me cut them out fast and easy.

As you can see, I'm using the new Storybook 6 once again, but this time flipped the die to use the rectangles and squares differently. Since I wanted a smaller sentiment, I found the perfect one using the new Love Sentiments set saying "All My Love." Plus, this set has the cutest hearts which I stamped at random, but some got covered up with balloons.

To fill in this shaker, I used the new Spring Blooms Mix and fell in love with the combination of pinks and various sizes together. It's absolutely gorgeous in person. This is also a limited edition you don't want to miss.

Moving onto the third card for the day....

I'm loving these new Cupids Friends set and matching Coordinating die which makes it easy to cut them perfect and fast. For this card, I used my Copic markers once again to color them and having fun with it.

When I saw this new Love Shaker die, lots of ideas popped into my head as I thought it was the cutest thing ever with these little scallops around the heart along with the amazing stitching detail. Plus, the word right in the center.

For the base, I used one of the borders from the Stitched Border 3 collection and die cut 4 strips of patterned paper.

To fill this little shaker, I grabbed the new Iridescent Heart Confetti mix as it has a wonderful combination of various size in iridescent along with the new Red Mini Hearts that I absolutely love.

Pretty Pink Posh New Release Blog Hop

Welcome to Day 1 of the blog hop showcasing Pretty Pink Posh's new release with tons of fun and inspiration. Plus prizes to be won. More information at the bottom.

You should have arrived from the talented Nichol Spohr, but if you get lost, no worries, there is a complete line up list below so you can stay on track during the blog hop.

I'm beyond thrilled to share these two cards with you today, so let's get started.

It's so much fun to create shaker cards, so I decided to create one using the new Stitched Notes Die to create my background scene and love how the set comes with separated V shapes dies so they can be placed anywhere on the cardstock to create a unique cut.

Also, I'm loving this fabulous Friends Forever set where it comes with four adorable little kids to choose from along with flowers and more. Plus, the sentiments are a perfect match. Here, I used the Coordinating Die to help me cut out all the images.

Here, you can see, I was able to cut out some V shapes to add in some pink card stock and green for the bottom. To fill in this shaker, I used the new 6mm Fresh Garden sequin and was so excited to see these pink flowers also in the mix.

To enclose the shaker, I used these beautiful Scallop Frames, from Pretty Pink Posh where you can create a wonderful frame around any scene. The cute little sun with smile is from the Camping Friends set and couldn't resist to use.

Moving onto the second card for the day....

Once again, I couldn't resist but to use the new Stitched Notes Die for this card as I do love how it leaves a dual stitching border. For this card, you can see the stitching on the Pink card stock and on the background scene card stock.

Plus, I love how it comes with 3 little banners to play with. Here, I used one of them along with some pink card stock.

This Easter Friends set is so much fun with the adorable little kids all dressed up, easter eggs, and baskets where I colored them using my copic markers. Also used the Coordinating die to help me cut them out fast.

To fill this little shaker, I thought the new 4mm Fresh Garden sequin was perfect as it has a mix of wonderful spring colors and thought it would be perfect to resemble smaller little eggs that you could shake.

The Daily Marker 30 Day Color Challenge Blog Hop

Hello! Welcome to Day 2 of The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge. Today is the FIRST day of a THREE DAY blog hop to jumpstart your creativity. If you’re new to the coloring challenge or have any questions about the coloring challenge you can refer to this post : http://www.thedailymarker.com/2016/10/coloring-challenge-bring-it-on/

If you are coming from the talented Jenny Lee Yamasaki blog you are in the right place, but if you get lost, no worries, a complete line up is below to stay on track during the blog hop.

As November has started, I decided to play with this cute Giving Thanks set from Pretty Pink Posh as it has variety of fall images and sentiments that are fun to play with. Also, used the Coordinating Die to help me cut out all of the images.

All of the images were colored using my Copic markers and truly enjoyed trying out some color combos and practicing coloring.

For the card itself, I started off with some Fall Perfectly Plaid paper from Lawn Fawn and proceeded to create a shaker card using one of my favorite dies from Pretty Pink Posh which is: Storybook 4 as it's perfect to create different scenes and/or add different shaker elements.

For the inside, I first created some clouds/sky and added some new 1/4" Gold Star Confetti which I glued down in place before adding some Autumn Seed Beads which are fun to shake.

For the sentiment in the middle, I ended up heat embossing using some white powder from Ranger (Super Fine) and added these cute little critters all dressed up using some foam mount tape to add just a little more dimension.

Looking forward to more coloring with The Daily Marker 30 Day Color Challenge as it's always fun each time Kathy hosts this and I appreciate all the hard work she does each time.

Now it’s time to hop to my friend ..... the talented Julia Altermann
