Pretty Pink Posh January New Release Blog Hop

Welcome!! I'm so thrilled this month to showcase Pretty Pink Posh's new product release for January. It's absolutely amazing with 3 new dies and some gorgeous sequins.

You should have arrived from Joni Andaya blog, but if you get lost, no worries, there is a complete line up list below so you can stay on track during the blog hop.

I'm so excited to share these two cards with you today, so let's get started with this card.
I just love this new Storybook 3 die with the amazing detailed stitching and rectangles. It makes it so easy to create little scenes or make each little box it's own design.

Plus look at these new Sweet Pea sequins mix filled with Marshmallow, Lime Sorbet, Pink Blush, and Irridescent Ballerina Pink colors.
Also, look at these adorable new Mini Star Confetti in Irridescent and Gold colors mixed together inside this shaker card. They are awesome and so fun to play with.

For this second card, I started with the new Exclusive Scallop Squares which is one of my favorites with the inverted tiny scallops and detailed stitching to create this Happy Birthday card.
Next, I couldn't resist but to use more dies on this card. Therefore, I pulled out the Stitched Border 1  die for the grass and the scallop border across the card and under the frame. The Year Four stamp by Lawn Fawn was used to create this fun celebration scene.
When I first started this card, my inspiration came from the Share Kindness Sequins Mix which is a beautiful combination of Lime Sorbet, Cornflower, and Turquoise. Therefore, I added these along with some more Mini Star Confetti  in Irridescent and Silver colors for sparkles.

Can you tell what else is new on this card? Okay, I'll tell you, it's these new fabulous Stitched Tabs, not only does the tab itself have stitching around it, but it also creates a straight stitched line before and after the tab which I love.
The sentiments are from two Simon Says Stamps called: Sending & Wishing along with Birthday Messages. Last but not least, to create the dimension, I used white fun foam under the Scallop Squares and foam mount tape under a few balloons and clouds.
Let's continue celebrating with your next stop at Heather Hoffman

Merry Monday #180 - Festive Holiday Wishes

It's the time for making Christmas cards and couldn't resist but playing over at Merry Monday #180 with the challenge of using reindeer on it. Plus it gives me a chance to get moving on building my Christmas card stash.

Here is my card:
I'm in love with these reindeer's from the Reindeer Games stamp set of Mama Elephant with all of the accessories and fun poses. Plus, I adore this exclusive Scallop Frames die from Pretty Pink Posh's latest release so I had to pull out some silver glitter cardstock and use it.

To create the scene, I die cut the hills first using Landscape Trio (mama elephant) and the cloud piece was from the Puffy Cloud Border (lawn fawn) where I sponged on a little ink (Sea Glass - SSS). to all three hills.

For the sky, I sponged more ink, Duckling and Cotton Candy from (SSS) since I love how these inks work for blending. Added some Mini Snowflakes from Lawn Fawn along with stamping the sentiment from the Jingle Greetings set.

Colored the reindeers and accessories with my copics and added in some Winter Snow Mix sequins from Pretty Pink Posh since I wanted to shake things up a little. Do you love making shakers?

As always, if you haven't checked out the challenge, please stop over to check out all the inspiration.

One More Treat for Halloween

Normally, I take pictures of the projects, but somehow in a rush to get these to the staff for Halloween, I realized I forgot to take a picture of the red pirate version for the men. I know we are done with Halloween, but wanted to get this posted to share since I love these little ghosts from the Booyah set.
I was so excited these little treats were fast to make and the Decorative Tag die came in so handy. Since I ran out of clear droplets, I added some marshmallow sequins instead. For the sentiment, I started off by embossing in black, but after doing a few treats, I thought it would go faster just to stamp it using black.

If you missed the tutorial on how to make this along with the measurements, please click here. I would like to see what you come up with. Have Fun!

Happy Halloween with more Ghosts

Here is the second Halloween card I mentioned where I got to play with some more ghosts from the Booyah stamp set from Lawn Fawn using some of my favorite colors, Electric Red, Blue, White, and Black.

Here, I wanted to create a clean and simple look so I pulled out one of my favorites...Storybook 1 die from  Pretty Pink Posh. I love this die as it's so easy to create little scenes in addition to all the stitching!

To cut the frame, I used the small rectangle of blueprints 20 (MFT) and put the Storybook 1 die in the center. Next, I grabbed some paper from the Let's Bokeh in the Snow pack and ran through the big shot to get the stitched squares.

Colored in these ghosts and accessories using my copic markers and since I've been loving the embossed look, once again, used white embossing powder for the sentiment. I did use some foam mount under the ghosts and sentiment to pop it up a little.

For final touches, I took my white sharpie pen and added some details along with adding a few  sparkling clear  sequins. Joining again, over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge with "Anything Goes"

Do you like this color combination? As always, if you haven't checked out the challenge, please stop over to check out all the inspiration.

Happy Halloween with Booyah

Wanted to wish everyone a Happy Halloween and hope everyone has some fun tonight with some trick and treats! Joining over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge with "Anything Goes"

Here is my card:
Just got this set late last week called: Booyah from Lawn Fawn and love all the variations of ghosts you can create along with the spiders, treats, and little accessories.

Also, had to play again with these fun Spooky sequins mix so I created another shaker card using this cute Stitched Duo 3 die from Pretty Pink PoshAlso, using the paper from the Let's Bokeh in the Snow pack from Lawn Fawn.

Look at those fun little pumpkins and colorful array of sequin. Plus those cute little spiders that were easy to just stamp in black with. Can you tell....I love sequins?

Just loving these ghosts and playing with more of them so hopefully get one more card done before tonight. The sentiment was embossed again using some white powder by Ranger.

As always, if you haven't checked out the challenge, please stop over to check out all the inspiration.

Chocolate Gift Bag Tutorial using Decorative Tag and Playful Pups

Thanks for being patient as I've had a relapse with this cold which has been no fun, but as promised and mentioned on my Instagram, here is the tutorial on creating this fast and fun little chocolate gift treat bag.

Love this Decorative Tag die
These are so much fun and fast to make that I created another one, but changed the colors around along with adding this adorable little dog from the Playful Pups from Mama Elephant. The sentiment is again from the: Toboggan Together set (Lawn Fawn).

You can click on any of the pictures to get a closer view.

Here are the steps:
1. Cut a piece of card stock 3 1/2 " width by 11" inches long

2. Score at 4 inches , 5 6/8 inches, and than at 10 inches

3. Cut any decorative piece of paper (3  1/16 in x 4  1/16 in)
(If you want more of a white border, cut the piece of paper (3" x 4")
Here I used paper from Lawn Fawn's Beachside collection

4. Die cut two different colored card stock using the Decorative Tag die  as pictured above

5. Add the decorative paper to the section labeled 4 1/4 inches
6. Place the oval section of the Decorative Tag die  in the center and run through the die cut machine.

After you run the die cut through, you should have this opening on the front

7. Cut a piece of acetate approx (2  3/4 inches x 3  1/4 inches)
8. Turn the card stock up side down and adhere the acetate covering the oval area, than flip back to the front.
The reason I added the acetate was so when I add the white decorative oval, it would have something to hold onto. Otherwise the white decorative piece will go through the opening.

9. Fold and crease all scored lines to ensure folds are defined and easy to manipulate for closure in the end.
10. Add the Decorative Tag die portion to the front of the project (I used some Multi Medium Matte to glue it)
11. Decorate the front as desired by adding sentiment and or little critter.

12. Fill little bag with candy, chocolate, or anything desired.
13. Staple the little bag to the inside cardstock as shown in picture above
14. Last but not least, fold project at score lines and add glue to the 1 inch section before sealing

Here is the picture of the back of the project when all sealed up. This way, the staples are not showing.

Again, these are fun and fast to make, but be aware you may want to keep making more. If you have any questions, please let me know and hope you have fun.  Thanks for being patient while I was able to take pictures of the entire process.
