Thanks for being patient as I've had a relapse
with this cold which has been no fun, but as promised and
mentioned on my Instagram, here is the tutorial on creating this fast and fun
little chocolate gift treat bag.
These are so much fun and fast to make
that I created another one, but changed the colors around along with adding
this adorable little dog from the Playful
Pups from Mama Elephant.
The sentiment is again from the: Toboggan Together set
(Lawn Fawn).

Here are the
steps:
1. Cut a
piece of card stock 3 1/2 " width by 11" inches long
2. Score at 4 inches , 5 6/8 inches, and than at 10 inches
3. Cut any
decorative piece of paper (3 1/16 in x 4 1/16 in)
(If you want
more of a white border, cut the piece of paper (3" x 4")
Here I used
paper from Lawn Fawn's Beachside collection
4. Die cut two different colored
card stock using the Decorative Tag die as pictured above
5. Add the
decorative paper to the section labeled 4 1/4 inches
6. Place
the oval section of the Decorative Tag die in the center and run through the die
cut machine.
After you run the die cut through, you should have this opening on the front
7. Cut a
piece of acetate approx (2 3/4 inches x 3 1/4 inches)
8. Turn the
card stock up side down and adhere the acetate covering the oval area, than flip
back to the front.
The reason I added the acetate was so when I add the white decorative oval, it would have something to hold onto. Otherwise the white decorative piece will go through the opening.
9. Fold and
crease all scored lines to ensure folds are defined and easy to manipulate for closure in the end.
10. Add
the Decorative Tag die portion to the front of the project (I used some Multi Medium Matte to glue it)
11. Decorate the front as desired by adding sentiment and or little critter.
12. Fill
little bag with candy, chocolate, or anything desired.
13. Staple
the little bag to the inside cardstock as shown in picture above
14. Last but
not least, fold project at score lines and add glue to the 1 inch section
before sealing
Here is the picture of the back of the project when all sealed up. This way, the staples are not showing.
Again, these
are fun and fast to make, but be aware you may want to keep making more. If you have
any questions, please let me know and hope you have fun. Thanks for being patient while I was able to take pictures of the entire process.
