MFTWSC263 - Sending You Love and Get Well

Hope everyone is enjoying their day! I needed a get well card to send to one of my friends and what better way but to send some love over. Therefore, I pulled out some more goodies and used the current sketch MFTWSC263 over at MFT Card Challenges to join the fun.

Here is my card:
As you can see, I kept this card Clean and Simple and added some watercoloring in the background with a light blue color to add some contrast. Than pulled out this cute panda from the Happy Pandas set as I thought it would be perfect for this card.

For the sentiment, I die cut the word LOVE from the LLD Accent it - Celebrate die-namics using some Electric Red cardstock. Next, I used the same stamp set for the words "Sending You" and embossed it using white powder.

To add some more details, I added several hearts from the Tag Builder Blueprints 3 using Pink Lemonade and more Electric Red. Than, I might have have gone a little crazy adding in these new little Gold Mini Star Confetti from Pretty Pink Posh but absolutely love them and couldn't resist.

As always, if you haven't checked out the challenge, please stop over to check out all the inspiration.

MFTWSC247 - Happy Birthday to My Sweet Daughter

I couldn't resist but to create a card using the MFTWSC247 weekly sketch from MFT Card Challenge and to play with some more fun stuff. Most importantly, my daughter's birthday is in one day, so I wanted to create something special for her as she is so precious to me.

Now I need to get my grandaughter to cooperate and let me ink her hand up to make a handprint on the inside of the card. Also, joining the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge where they have "No Designer Paper" and Seize the Birthday.

Here is my card:
This was so much fun to make as I first started off with creating the background and playing with some distress markers. Also, I was experimenting to see the look on watercolor paper as well as white cardstock. Both look great, but for this card, I used the white card stock.

What I did was grabbed an acrylic block and 5 distress markers (Tumbled Glass, Worn Lipstick, Peacock Feathers, Wild Honey, and Mowed Lawn). Next, I took each marker and colored a few lines onto the acrylic block in the same order as listed.

Than, I took a little mister filled with water and little Perfect Pearls mixture and spritz over the block. From there, I applied the block directly over the paper and repeated this several times until my background was covered.
From there, I cut the background using the Stitched Cover Up Companion Vertical die from MFT and ran it through my big shot. Don't want to forget, I also added some silver glittered card stock along with the Scribbles die to add to my background.

For the base of the card, I used the stitched rectangle from Blueprints 25 using Blu Raspberry card stock, die-cut the white frame using the Stitched Cover Up Vertical die and pieced thoses all together.

Colored in this adorable sweet little girl using my copics and made sure to add pink shoes, purse, and scarf as her favorite color is pink from the stamp set: Mon Cheri. Added the sentiment from the set called: Label Maker and cute 4m sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. (Mossy Green, Pink Peonies, Cornflower, Sparkling Clear)

MFTWSC242 - Happy Birthday with Sweet Panda

Didn't want to miss out on this cute sketch over at the MFT Card Challenges with MFTWSC242 so pulled out some fun stuff and got to playing. Also, squeezing in one more birthday card over at Seize the Birthday.
Here is my card:
I'm sure you can guess on which blueprint I used here, but just in case your not sure, it's Blueprint 26 where I wanted to focus once again on using the dies in the set. It's one of my favorites....how about your? This cute little panda came from the stamp set called: Happy Panda
Here I used the Diagonal Stencil to emboss the base background giving it some texture. Also, for the sentiments, I stacked them together by cutting out 3 in total (2 in white and 1 in Orange Fizz which I than glued together using Tac Gem.

For the word "Happy", I did the same thing, but glued the orange fizz slightly more towards the right to give it a shadow look.
Almost forgot about the big ballon in the center which I'm sure you can't miss on this card. Used Sour Apple cardstock where I added texture paste using the stars stencil. Also, added the bows and a little sequins to finish it off along with some white dots using my sharpie pen.

As always, if you haven't checked out the lesson or challenge, please stop over to check out all the inspiration.

Stamp Set: Happy Panda (MFT),
Card stock and Paper: White, Summer Splash, Orange Fizz, Sour Apple (MFT)

MFTWSC240 - Happy Birthday to You

What a fun sketch over at MFT Card Challenges with MFTWSC240 so wanted to give it a try and play around with some crafty stuff. Also, joining the Seize the Birthday with this week "Anything Goes" with the topping "Embossing".
Here is my card:
Started with an A2 white card stock base and heat embossed it using white embossing powder along with the background stamp called: Garden Flourish from MFT as I wanted to create a resist background to blend in some color, Tickled Pink, one of my favorite.

Afterwards, I used the stitched A2 rectangle from Blueprints 25 and ran through the die cut machine. Next, I went on to create the middle and decided to use my Pierced Square dies to help me with it.
For the bigger square, I used Ripe Raspberry cardstock and than cut out 4 smaller squares using white and pieced them together. Added some craft foam under the square to elevate this little platform and give it some dimension.

Added the Leaf Filled Flourish using Green Envy shimmer paper and created the flower using Mini Hybird Heirloom Rose along with felt. The sentiment was from the set called: Pretty Poppies which was heat embossed using white powder. Added some sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to finish off the card.

As always, if you haven't checked out the challenge, please stop over to check out all the inspiration.

Supplies Used:

Love this sketch over at MFT Card Challenge MFTWSC236 and wanted to create a special card for Kathy over at The Daily Marker and giving her a thumbs up for all the times she demonstrates and shows us in her videos the different techniques one can do with coloring and different mediums. She is fabulous and so sweet to also show us tricks and tips. I say "Wonderful teacher"

Here is my card:
As I was doing this card, I found myself converting this into a 5 x 5 card instead of an A2 which gave me a chance to use my Blueprints 14 frame using Sweet Tooth cardstock. To add a mat base under, I grabbed Black Licorice cardstock. Next, I used the biggest Stiched Jumbo Fishtail Banner die along with Sno Cone cardstock for the center main attraction. Kraft cardstock was added to each side.

Next, I pulled out the In Bloom: Addie's Garden from Winnie & Walter and colored in these flowers and leaves with my Copic marker. For the sentiment, I used The Big, the Bold, and Friends along with the the Stitched Circles from Simon Says Stamps. To finish off this card, I added some sequins. I have another idea with this sketch as well as it's so cute.

As always, if you haven't checked out the challenge sites, please go take a look to see fabulous inspiration and creativity.

MFTWSC235 - Sending a Big Hug on Your Birthday!

Celebrating another Birthday for one of our friends in our IG Crafty Crew group, Sandy IG: (mommyeyedr) so decided to use this cute sketch MFTWSC235 over at MFT card challenge using some new products I got recently.

Wanted to wish Sandy a wonderful belated birthday and hope she enjoys all year long as she is so sweet and supportive. Also, joining in with another favorite challenge with Seize The Birthday. The topping is "Red, White, and Blue", but it's optional
Here is my card:
Yes, I did start with a blueprint, but this time it's Blueprint 25 which is perfect for A2 card and a nice stitched border. Next, I used Blueprint 23 for the center panel which I than stamped with using Happy Birthday Background and Sweet Tooth pigment in onto After Midnight cardstock. Really love this new blue they came out with.

For the main attraction, I first created some clouds onto white cardstock and die cut using the Cross-Stitch circle. For the grass portion, I die cut using the Stitched Snow Drifts and Sour Apple cardstock. Next, went on to color the ballons using my copic markers and popped up a few ballons using foam mount along with the panda.

For the sentiment, I used Blueprint 25 again along with Tickled Pink cardstock, but since the sentiment was longer than my pink strip, I took away one word. Last but not least, I added some stars which is included in the Blueprints 25 using another new color called: Daffodil.

As always, if you haven't checked out the challenge, please stop over to check out all the inspiration.
