Happy Birthday to a Sweet Friend

I'm back again today with another Birthday card to celebrate another one of my sweet Instagram friends, Giorgia @ciocioscrap birthday and to wish her a wonderful day! Also, joining over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge with anything goes, "SSSflickrchallenge#41" and Seize The Birthday

Here is my card:
Lots of fun stuff and as you know I love playing with sequins so I created this shaker card using this adorable Stitched Duo 3 die from Pretty Pink Posh as my focal point where I added a mix of Iridescence sequins: 6mm Lavender Moon and 6mm Ballerina Pink to add lots of sparkles.

For the base, I used a different color combination this time around and went with purple theme and once again used the Stitched Rectangles from Simon Says Stamp and placed it on top of the Perfectly Plaid paper from Lawn Fawn.

Next, I added several Birthday Balloons from MFT stamps using different colors of card stock along with a few stitched clouds from Lawn Fawn Spring Showers die collection.

Lastly, I added this adorable bunny from the set called: Melody's Easter from Simon Says Stamp and colored the images using my copic markers and popped it up using foam mount. Also, added some Wink of Stella on the little flower and ears.

Wishing you Spring Greetings!

Spring Greetings to all! With Easter coming up, I wanted to create a spring themed card and thought this set would be perfect. Also, joining the fun again to participate in the Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge of "SSSflickrchallenge#41" with Anything Goes.
Here is my card:
For this card, I played with this adorable set called: Melody's Easter from Simon Says Stamp and colored the images using my copic markers. Next, I wanted to add in some texture, so I cut a 1 1/8" strip of Doll Pink card stock, pulled out the falling hearts stencil along with some texture paste by Ranger.

For the background, I grabbed the Stitched Rectangles from Simon Says Stamp and die cut a large base rectangle and added some Perfectly Plaid paper from Lawn Fawn

From there, I once again reached for this beautiful Window Frame from Pretty Pink Posh as I have fallen in love with it to add the sentiment. Here, I'm using the smaller window frame. Next, I added a small strip of Green Apple card stock and this cute mini scallop border from the new Stitched Borders 4  collection from Pretty Pink Posh. Let me say, it has amazing stitching detail.

Last, but not least, I added in some favorite sparkles, 4mm and 6mm Sparkling clear sequins and Wink of Stella to the flowers.  As always, if you haven't checked out the challenge, please stop over to check out the amazing inspiration over there.

Sending Hugs & Prayers

I'm back today with another card I created to send to someone who needs some hugs and prayers! Plus, it gave me a chance to play with this new flower set as I was so inspired by Laura's card when it was first introduced. Entering this card over at Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge of "SSSflickrchallenge#41" with Anything Goes.
Here is my card:
When first creating this card, I wanted to have the center as the focus so I used this beautiful Window Frame from Pretty Pink Posh as it has the most incredible stitching detail along the outside and inside of the window frame. Plus, I love the size! Here I'm using the largest one.

To create the framed look, I once again used the Stitched Rectangles from Simon Says Stamp and placed the Window frame in the center using Sea Glass card stock.

Next, I embossed almost all of the images from the Spring Flowers set from Simon Says Stamp using white embossing powder from Ranger. I do love ink blending for backgrounds, so when I saw Laura's video and card, I got inspired to try it out with images and use some of my favorite inks from Simon Says Stamp. Sentiment is from Friendship Blooms

Afterwards, I did take my copic markers on a few images and added some darker shades in some areas such as the yellow and peach flower. All inks are from Simon Says Stamp and one from Altenew

For the leaves, I used Jellybean and Green Leaf
Flowers: Teeny Bikini, Hot Mama, and Melon along with Mango ink from Altenew
Copic: E93 & YR23 on top of the Melon color and Y15 and Y17 on top of the yellow

Last, but not least, I added in some favorite sparkles, 4mm and 6mm Sparkling clear sequinsAs always, if you haven't checked out the challenge, please stop over to check out the amazing inspiration over there.

Go Get Carried Away on Your Birthday!

This weekend we celebrated my little grand daughters birthday so I wanted to make her a fun shaker card she could play with as she really loves crafting. Also, joining this weeks challenge over at Seize The Birthday. This week they have a topping of "The Great Divide", but you can also do just a Birthday Theme.

Here is my card:
I just love this Stitched Banner Duo from Pretty Pink Posh, so I used that as a focal point to create this shaker card using some Kraft card stock. For the background, I got to play with the new Perfectly Plaid paper from Lawn Fawn along with Creative Cuts (Basic) die set from Mama Elephant for the scallop rectangle and banner for the sentiment which was embossed using white powder.

This Carried Away stamp set from Mama Elephant was perfect to use as my grand daughter seemed to enjoy when I was coloring them with my Copic markers. Than, I added in this fun 4mm Spring Flower Sequins mix and added some more Spring flowers on top of the acetate. Can you tell, I can't stop using these cute flowers. They are just so cute!

Last but not least, these stitched clouds are from Lawn Fawn Spring Showers die collection where I added some blue around them using my copics.  As always, if you haven't checked out the challenge, please stop over to check out the amazing inspiration over there.

Hello Friend - Sending you Hugs

As you know, March is National Craft Month and everyone loves to celebrate. So, I created this card to send to someone who needs some hugs along with playing with some of my favorites. Also, entering this card over at Right at Home celebration of National Craft Month and over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge of "cute and cuddly".
Here is my card:
I'm still playing with this cute Birdie Friends set from Pretty Pink Posh as it's one of my favorites with these little chicks and sentiments, so I decided to create another shaker card using the Storybook 2 die as I love these 3 mini little squares and rectangle to build on any scene.

To create the center frame, I used the Stitched Rectangles from Simon Says Stamp and placed it around the Storybook 2  die and ran them together thru the die cutting machine. Next, I die cut a bigger frame and placed around the smaller frame as it was a perfect fit.

For the background, I did play with several distress inks where I spritzed on some water along with some Perfect Pearls for sparkles in the background itself. Love the way it all mixed together.

Once again, I colored the images using Zig Clean Color Brush and stamped the umbrella from the Rainy Day set from Pretty Pink Posh using Doll Pink ink from Simon Says Stamp. Than, added some little envelopes from the Birdie Notes set. Just love how how of these stamp sets work with one another.

Last, but not least, I added in some favorite sparkles, 4mm and 6mm Sparkling clear sequinsAs always, if you haven't checked out the challenge, please stop over to check out the amazing inspiration over there.

Wishing You a Happy Birthday!

Had some fun again with putting this card together to wish one of my sweet friends from Instagram. Nina, I hope you enjoy your day and wanted to wish you a special Happy Birthday. Also, joining this weeks challenge over at Seize The Birthday.

Here is my card:
Here, I pulled out the Rainy Days and Winter Friends set from Pretty Pink Posh as I wanted to play with this cute umbrella, clouds, and adorable little penguin to create this Birthday scene. For the background, I die cut a few scallop borders using the Stitched Border 2 set and added some Sea Glass ink to add them to a corner.

Next, I blended some yellow in the center by using Mango ink from Altenew. Than, I had fun creating the shaker portion of this card by die-cutting the Stitched Film Strip by Pretty Pink Posh using fog card stock and lightweight chipboard as I was experimenting again.

Basically, I used the chipboard vs using foam mount to create the shaker element and than added a combination of Mini Hearts in both Iridescent and gold . This keeps the shaker flater for mailing. Than, for the sentiment, I die cut a Stitched Speech Bubbles Die using black card stock and embossed in white using the Circle Sentiments from Reverse Confetti.

Last, but not least, added some Spring Flowers as final touch along with clear Wink of Stella for more sparkles. As always, if you haven't checked out the challenge, please stop over to check out the amazing inspiration over there.

Pretty Pink Posh March New Release Blog Hop

Welcome!! I'm so excited this month to showcase Pretty Pink Posh's new product release for March. It's absolutely amazing with adorable new stamp sets, 4 new dies, and a fun Easter sequin mix which I love.

You should have arrived from Joni Andaya blog, but if you get lost, no worries, there is a complete line up list below so you can stay on track during the blog hop.
I'm beyond thrilled to share these two cards with you today, so let's get started.

Here, I used this beautiful new Window Frames Die which is perfect to create different scenes, plus it leaves a wonderful stitched border on the outside as well as the inside. For this card, I used the larger window frame as my focal point to get me started.
After die cutting the window frame, I was left with the center where I added some clouds by blending in some Sea Glass ink from SSS along with adding the large scallops from the new Stitched Border 4 as shown in photo below.
From there, it was easy to re-align back inside the window frame.

Next, I used this adorable new Birdie Friends set along with the coordinating matching dies where I water colored using Zig Clean Color Brush to create this scene. Also, I added some Woodlands Seed Beads to add various shades of green to the grass.
To add more details, I stamped a couple of envelopes using the Birdie Notes set along with using the matching dies. Also, I pulled out the Rainy Days set to add these cute clouds along with the smiley face. Lastly, added some Spring Flower Mix where I added them on top of the acetate.

This next card also uses this beautiful new Window Frames Die where I used it to create a shaker basket. To do this, I placed both window frame dies together and ran through the machine. Next, I took the center and embossed it using We R memory folder called Chain and re-aligned back into the frame.
If you cut both, the large and smaller Scallop Circles together, you will be left with this negative cut, which is between both circles. (As shown in picture below). This is what I used to create the handles for this basket.

I ran the Scallop Circles again through the die cutting machine but using fun foam vs. card stock so I could use that to pop up the handle. Than, I put the remainder of fun foam pieces for another card.

Now for the background, I created the sky by blending in some Spun Sugar Distress ink on top and put it aside. Next, I die cut a large scallop border from the new Stitched Borders 4  where I embossed it using the We R memory folder again.
To add more details to the scene, I added the white Picket Fence from Pretty Pink Posh along with a cloud from the Rainy Days set as I love adding the smiley face to brighten someone's day. Also, I added some Twine and Bow to cover up the area where the handles meet the basket using some gold foil.

I'm head over heels about this new Easter sequin mix filled with soft pastel colors as I added it inside this shaker basket. Also, added some 4mm Sparkling clear sequins
