VLVDec2013 wk2 - Special with a Heart

Last day to get my sketches in for Viva La Verve for the month of December. This one is designed by Teresa Kline for VLV week 2 and so cute with this gorgeous heart. Right away I knew what stamp set I wanted to use, which is called: Chevron Love.

Here is my card:
Lots of fun products here and my favorite colors, Cherry Cobbler, Black, and White along with this cute embossing folder by SU called: Pretty Print Textured Impressions. Started with my Circles using MFT Circle Stax along with using the paper Modern Medley by SU.

More fun products: Jotted Heart Die by Verve to help me cut out this cute heart and for the bow, I used MFT Beautiful Bows Die. Added some polka dots using liquid pearl. For the sentiment, I used the set: Take Note by Verve and used the First Place Ribbon die from MFT to cut it out. For the red pearls, I used basic pearls and colored them with my spectrum noir markers to match up the color.

VLVDec2013 wk1 and Diva Dare using Holiday Treats

Here is my take on the VLVDec2013 week1 sketch designed by Amber Hight and using some new stamp sets by Verve which I love. This one is called Holiday Treats and it's on sale today so even better time to get one. In addition, another chance to play in the Dec Diva Dare challenge of creating a card using a favorite Verve stamp set.

Here is my card:
Love this retired paper Elegant Soiree by SU and thought it would be perfect for this "Thank you" card. Also, used some of my favorite ink color as well by SU: Soft Suede for the sentiment, Chocolate Chip for the card stock, and Early Espresso for the coffee mugs.

Colored in the coffee mugs using my Spectrum Noir markers, CT2 and IB1 and added some crystal effects and some dazzling details for the very top of it. Last but not least I used Verve seam binding ribbon from the Signature Ribbon collection and added a nice big pearl to finish it off. Almost forgot, the arrow image comes from the stamp set: Brighter Days.

VLVDEC2013 wk3 and Diva Dare - Peace on Earth

Happy Holidays to all!! I was so happy to have some time again to create more cards and working on the Viva La Verve challenge sketches. This one is for VLV Dec Week 3 sketch designed by Charmaine Ikach which I found perfect for creating another Christmas card I needed. In addition, another opportunity to join the Merry Monday #88 challenge of using an animal which was extended to Jan 2014 and the Dec Diva Dare challenge of using a favorite Verve stamp set.

Here is my card:
As I said in my previous post, I love my Verve stamp sets and have many favorite. Here is another one called Peace on Earth and love these little reindeers that have a matching die from the set: Unto Us. I only wish I had more time to make more Christmas cards. Another favorite are the seam binding ribbons from Verve, here I used the Signature Ribbon collection.

Here I used some Silver Foil Sheets along with paper from the Winter Frost Specialty by SU and hard to tell in the photo, but used the Snowflake embossing folder to create snow at the bottom for the reindeers to stand on. Also used my spectrum noir markers to color in the "Holy" section and added some crystal effects on it.

Don't forget, to check out the December Diva Dare 2013VLVDec2013 week 3, and the Merry Monday challenge and have fun.
