Wishing You Sunshine and Get Well

I couldn't pass up joining over at Just Us Girls with their trend week #323 using sequins as I've been loving all of the colors of sequins and playing alot with them. In addition, it gave me a chance to create a get well card for someone I found out recently was in a car accident.

Here is my card:
Playing with a couple of my favorite stamp set: Holiday Pals from Pretty Pink Posh as I love these little critters and little accessories so I pulled out the little bunny, penguin, and cute little bow. Then I pulled out: Rainy Days for the umbrella, clouds, little smile, and sentiment.

Next, I created the circle by using the Stitched Circle die by Simon Says Stamp and pulled out the tiny dots stencil to add some texture paste.

Since I wanted to add some color behind the little critters, I pulled out 2 inks from Altenew: Frosty Pink and Mango Smoothie to add to the circle. Added some fun foam under the rectangle to add some dimension along with adding foam mount under the umbrella and animals.

Last but not least, colored using my copic marker and added some 4m clear sequins by Pretty Pink Posh and white embossed the sentiment. As always, if you haven't checked out the challenge, please stop over to check out all the inspiration.

SPDSS23 - Fairy Sweet

Wanted to play and have some fun coloring and couldn't resist but to use this cute sketch over at Sugar Pea Designs SPDSS23 along with this adorable stamp set and join the challenge along with Seize the Birthday challenge and Just Us Girls Challenge JUGS288 which is a shaker card.
Here is my card:
Absolutely love this stamp set called: Fairy Sweet and have been wanting to use it for awhile now so went on to make this a square size shape since I wanted to also add in a shaker element for someone special who's birthday is coming up along with this cute sentiment from the set: Special Delivery.

For the background, I cut out several heart borders and added it to the Blu Raspberry card stock to add some dimension and embossed look. Than went on to cut out a Square Frame using Ripe Raspberry card stock and another one using Stitched Squares dies to put on top. Perfect fit.

Added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins and little hearts from the hearts border die to fill up this little square. Last but not least added some Wink of Stella on her wings and starts.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Fairy Sweet (SPD), Special Delivery (SPD)
Card stock: Smooth White, Ripe Raspberry, Blu Raspberry (MFT), X Press It Blending Paper (copic coloring)
Inks: Black Licorice (MFT Hybird), Ripe Raspberry (MFT), Copic Markers,

Inspiration of Love and Pink & Reds

Verve is having a Vivacious Valentine Inspiration Challenge for February which I couldn't resist and I thought to get one more card in for the JUGS#279 and Simon Says Stamps Monday Challenge of Red and Pink's.

Here is my card:
Here I decided to make a square card for a change and started with my Blueprints# 14 and wanted to try out one of the four sketches you can download to give you ideas. I pulled out the stamp set Dream Big by Verve since I wanted to incorporate some flowers which I think goes perfect with hearts.

I layered the flowers using foam mount in between to pop them up using Wild Cherry and Bubblegum ink and for the leaves, I used Jellybean Green along with matching dies to cut them out.

As you can see I used the papers from the SS kit again from Crate Paper called Kiss Kiss. Sentiment is also from the same stamp set: Dream Big and hard to tell in the photo but used White shimmer paper to add a little sparkle to this card.

Again, don't forget to check out the challenge sites if you haven't already to see lots of creativity and inspiration.

Supplies Used:

You Are Loved

Decided to make another card and play with the Simon Says February Kit and join a few challenges with Simon Says Monday Challenge of Reds and Pinks. Word Art Wednesday#169 and JUGS #279 (Love).
Here is my card:
I love the papers in this kit (Crate Paper Kiss Kiss) along with all of the goodies inside so I will be playing more with this. Here I started with the Bundle of Stitches Die to create the base using Dark Chocolate. Can you tell I love stitches?

Here I used the Rub on's from the Crate Paper Kiss Kiss for the sentiment and surrounded it by using the Stitched Circle Dies from SS along with paper from the kit. Added Fishtail Flags using Cotton Candy and Kahki card stock and finished it off with adding some enamel dots and heats. The circle is popped up using foam mount.

Don't forget to check out the challenge sites if you haven't already to view more inspirational cards and projects.
