After finishing my treat boxes in the last post, I kept looking at the inspiration photo from
this week's Simon
Says Stamp Wednesday challenge and wanted to create a halloween shaker card using
the fun Spooky sequins
mix.
Here is my card:
I'm in love with this new Storybook Two Die from Pretty Pink Posh and as you can tell also
in love with this cute little Darling Friends stamp set
since the little critters are adorable! Once again, to create the frame, I took
the smaller stitched rectangle from Blueprints 20 and placed the Storybook Two
Die in the middle.
For the base
stitched rectangle, I used Blueprints 15 along with elegant
eggplant card stock from SU and for the frame: Let's Polka
- Mon Amie paper from Lawn Fawn. I'm sure you recongnize the
pumpkins and cat from the Witch Way Candy (MFT) set
which is perfect for this occassion. Also, couldn't resist but to use the the Twine
and Bows Die again.
When
creating this card, I thought "let's celebrate and have some fun" so
when I saw the sentiment from the Sparkle and Shine (SSS) set,
I thought it would be perfect for this card. Than I pulled out the the word
"Halloween" from the Essential Greetings (SSS) set which is awesome for so many occassions.
Can't forget this Spooky sequins mix containing not oly 4mm and 6mm sequin sizes, but some fun pumpkin sequins. After I finished, I couldn't
resist but to keep shaking it up.
As always, if you haven't checked out the challenge, please stop over to
check out all the inspiration.
Oh this is too sweet!! Love how you used the storybook 2 die and your shaker element is perfect!!:)
