Wishing You Sunshine and Get Well

I couldn't pass up joining over at Just Us Girls with their trend week #323 using sequins as I've been loving all of the colors of sequins and playing alot with them. In addition, it gave me a chance to create a get well card for someone I found out recently was in a car accident.

Here is my card:
Playing with a couple of my favorite stamp set: Holiday Pals from Pretty Pink Posh as I love these little critters and little accessories so I pulled out the little bunny, penguin, and cute little bow. Then I pulled out: Rainy Days for the umbrella, clouds, little smile, and sentiment.

Next, I created the circle by using the Stitched Circle die by Simon Says Stamp and pulled out the tiny dots stencil to add some texture paste.

Since I wanted to add some color behind the little critters, I pulled out 2 inks from Altenew: Frosty Pink and Mango Smoothie to add to the circle. Added some fun foam under the rectangle to add some dimension along with adding foam mount under the umbrella and animals.

Last but not least, colored using my copic marker and added some 4m clear sequins by Pretty Pink Posh and white embossed the sentiment. As always, if you haven't checked out the challenge, please stop over to check out all the inspiration.

Merry Christmas with little Reindeer

Some snow, dies, and a little reindeer combined creates another Christmas card done and let me tell you it's fast and easy. Joining this time over at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge with "Christmas theme project".

Also, joining another challenge through Instagram for the igcraftycrew Christmas theme.

Here is my card:
I love this little Holiday Frames from Simon Says Stamp with the Merry Christmas already on there and all I had to do was add some silver sharpie pen to it along with some clear Wink of Stella and glossy accents.

The snow was once again done by using the Falling Snow Stencil, one of my favorites to add dimension along with some texture paste.

Couldn't resist but to use this cute little reindeer from the Reindeer Games set along with these beautiful Abby and Rylynn snowflakes from Simon Says Stamps which were die cut using some glitter cardstock.

You know me and sequins, so I had to add some 4m Metallic Silver color along with some 4m Raspberry from Pretty Pink Posh. This one was fast and easy to make and already in the process of die cutting all the pieces to make another one, but just in a different color.

As always, if you haven't checked out the challenge, please stop over to check out all the inspiration.

Let it Snow with Reindeers and Sparkles

Once again, another Christmas card but with lots of Snow and white. Joining again over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge with Let it Snow theme. Plus, I've been wanting to create an almost white card and I think I finally got it plus I got to pull out my vellum.

Here you go:
Also using these cute little reindeers from the Reindeer Games along with another favorite of mine, Storybook 2 from Pretty Pink Posh and love to reach for it when creating little scenes. If your wondering which die the glitter is, it's the negative cut from the new exclusive Scallop Frames.

Basically, I ran both dies together through the die cut machine to see what shapes I would get. You can seperate the dies and cut individually, but I was experimenting to see what shapes come out.

After seperating the die cut pieces, I ended up with all four of these. Normally, I don't use the negative piece (piece left over after you die cut an image) and many times throw it out, but I couldn't resist to use as I love the shape.

I used Shimmering Pearl White cardstock when I die cut the Storybook 2 die to add a little shimmer to the card. Also, die cut some Mini Snowflakes which are a perfect size for little scenes.

Last but not least, added some shinning 4 m clear sequins, marshmallow seed beads, and silver shimmer seed beads to sparkle and shake things up.

The sentiment is from the set: Mini Messages from Mama Elephant. If you want to see my previous card using the large scallop frame for click here and the smaller frame you can click here

Seasons Greetings To All

I'm back with another Christmas card and wanted to join the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge with Let it Snow theme. Also, using this reindeer from the Reindeer Games set once again. I spent some time duplicating my last card to send out and build on my stash. Most of the time, I like to make each one different, but a few designs I'll mass produce.

Here is my card:
As you know, I'm in love with this ...Storybook 1 die from  Pretty Pink Posh and always find myself using it quite often as you can create so many different scences with it. Started off with Electric Red card stock and blueprints 15 for my base and went on to shake things up.

Another favorite of mine is this new exclusive Scallop Frames die, one being large and the other being smaller. I realized the smaller one is a perfect fit over the Storybook 1 die which I die cut using silver glitter card stock.

Next, I used Tumbled glass distress ink to create the background sky and added Forest Border from Lawn Fawn. Colored in just the trees with YG17 to make them a little darker. Also, die cut some Mini Snowflakes. The fun part was adding in all those colorful sequins from the  4m and 6m Holly Jolly sequin mix.

For the sentiment, I used the white embossing powder along with the set: Christmas Scene. Loving the font and all the sparkles. As always, if you haven't checked out the challenge, please stop over to check out all the inspiration.
