Season's Greeting

Spent some time today coloring and joining in for another day with Kathy's 30 day color challenge over at the The Daily MarkerAlso, joing over at Simon Says Stamp Wenesdaychallenge of using Christmas Critters

I had lots of fun coloring this cute little penguin from the Winter Wonderland set of Pretty Pink Posh along with this little Santa's hat from the Winter Friends set using my copic markers. For the Penguin, I used C3, C5, C7, YR68, R20 for cheeks. Santa's Hat: B000, B01, B04 Sleigh: R32, R35, R46

I decided to use some traditional and non-traditional colors for this card as I love this new Holiday Shimmer sequins mix filled with pinks, greens, clear sparkles.

This card is easy and fast to make using this adorable Stitched Stars die from Pretty Pink Posh and love the rounded edges along with the stitching, both inside and out.

Okay, to create this I frist cut out a square base measuring 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" and added some Razzleberry cardstock and matching paper and put it aside.

For the Star, I took some water color paper from Tim Holtz and used some distress inks: Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, and Tumbled Glass. From there, I die cut the star and added some white snowflakes using the Winter Wonderland set using some white embossing powder.

Stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Friends in the center and added some new Holiday Shimmer sequins. Placed the star on top along with the sleigh, penguin, and hat.

Finished off the card by adding some Twine and Bow using some white card stock. In the end, this card does measure 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (maybe a little smaller) based on where you put the star, but it fits an A2 size envelope.
