Sending Daffodils on Your Birthday

Surprise....I'm back again today with another Birthday card as one more of my sweet instagram friends celebrated her birthday. So I created another shaker card and also joining over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge with "Anything Goes"  and "SSSflickrchallenge#44" where the theme is Mother's Day card, a card with flowers, or combine both. 

Here is my card:

For this card, I pulled out lots of fun stuff, but started it off by coloring these daffodils from the Friendship Blooms set from Simon Says Stamp using my copic markers. 

Next, I pulled out one of my favorites, Storybook 1 from Pretty Pink Posh and die cut using white card stock and than to add a more decorative look around the borders, I added the Scallop Frames using Kraft cardstock. It was a perfect frame with the detailed stitching and inverted scallops. 

For the shaker element, I used acetate along with white fun foam vs. foam mount tape. Than came the fun part of adding these Woodland Beads from Pretty Pink Posh which has wonderful shades of green and was perfect as I wanted to create a grass effect.
