Birthdays and surprises are fun and exciting so why not shake it up a little with another shaker card and add some sparkles to someone's day. Actually, now that I'm thinking, this could also be used to cheer someone up and send sparkles their way.
Here is my card:
I adore this balloon with little critters from the Darling Friends set so I started off by coloring it using my copic markers. Next, I couldn't resist but to use the Scallop Ovals again as I love the inverted scallops on the inside along with the detailed stitching.
Since I wanted some clouds in the background before I put together the shaker element, I used my ink blending tool along with the Stitched borders 2 from Pretty Pink Posh to create the sky. Here, I use the border as a stencil and place it down where I want to start my clouds and than add ink along the top of the border. Next, I keep repeating these steps until I'm happy with the sky look.
For the sentiment, I pulled out the Birdie Friends set and white embossed the "sending hugs" using black card stock. Next, I wanted to add a banner look to each end of the sentiment, so I pulled out the Stitched Labels 1 using white card stock, but since I wanted tails on each side, I did some partial die-cut to get tails on each side. The little white heart on the balloon is also from the Stitched Labels 1 die.
This is adorable Liz! Don't you just love the PPP balloon!!
