VLV2014 wk2 - Great Friend Birthday Greetings

Had to use more of this fun paper from the More Amore Speciality and worked on another Viva La Verve Sketch. This one is week two designed by Teresa Kline.

Here is my card:
I've changed this card so many times between stamp sets, ribbons or no ribbon, etc. I'm sure we have all had these moments, but I had fun playing with all of the different elements. This card used the stamp set: Great Friend (Verve) along with Borderline (Verve) for the chevron look which was embossed in white.

Here I used several of my blueprint dies from MFT, blueprint 1, 3 and 5 along with the Flag it Die, and Elegant Leaves by Verve. I did do some fuzzy cut for the flowers and popped them up using foam mount in between. Added some liquid pearl for the center and there you go.

Like I said before, I changed this card several times so here is another picture of the same card, but with polka dot flower in the center. The reason for it was for someone who loves polka dots.
What do you think? Which one do you like better...with polka dots or without for the top center flower? Below is a full list of supplies used for this card.

Again, don't forget to check out the new Viva La Verve sketch challenge.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Great Friend (Verve), Borderline (Verve)
Paper: More Adore (SU), Brights DSP pack (SU)
Cardstock: Whisper White, Real Red, Early Espresso
Inks: Early Espresso, Memento Tuxedo Black, Old Olive
Accessories:  Blueprints 1, 3, 5 (MFT), Flag it Die & Elegant Leaves (A Cut Above by Verve), Liquid Pearl, Foam Mount, White embossing powder

VLVDec2013 wk1 and Diva Dare using Holiday Treats

Here is my take on the VLVDec2013 week1 sketch designed by Amber Hight and using some new stamp sets by Verve which I love. This one is called Holiday Treats and it's on sale today so even better time to get one. In addition, another chance to play in the Dec Diva Dare challenge of creating a card using a favorite Verve stamp set.

Here is my card:
Love this retired paper Elegant Soiree by SU and thought it would be perfect for this "Thank you" card. Also, used some of my favorite ink color as well by SU: Soft Suede for the sentiment, Chocolate Chip for the card stock, and Early Espresso for the coffee mugs.

Colored in the coffee mugs using my Spectrum Noir markers, CT2 and IB1 and added some crystal effects and some dazzling details for the very top of it. Last but not least I used Verve seam binding ribbon from the Signature Ribbon collection and added a nice big pearl to finish it off. Almost forgot, the arrow image comes from the stamp set: Brighter Days.

VLVDEC2013 wk3 and Diva Dare - Peace on Earth

Happy Holidays to all!! I was so happy to have some time again to create more cards and working on the Viva La Verve challenge sketches. This one is for VLV Dec Week 3 sketch designed by Charmaine Ikach which I found perfect for creating another Christmas card I needed. In addition, another opportunity to join the Merry Monday #88 challenge of using an animal which was extended to Jan 2014 and the Dec Diva Dare challenge of using a favorite Verve stamp set.

Here is my card:
As I said in my previous post, I love my Verve stamp sets and have many favorite. Here is another one called Peace on Earth and love these little reindeers that have a matching die from the set: Unto Us. I only wish I had more time to make more Christmas cards. Another favorite are the seam binding ribbons from Verve, here I used the Signature Ribbon collection.

Here I used some Silver Foil Sheets along with paper from the Winter Frost Specialty by SU and hard to tell in the photo, but used the Snowflake embossing folder to create snow at the bottom for the reindeers to stand on. Also used my spectrum noir markers to color in the "Holy" section and added some crystal effects on it.
