MFTWSC226 & SSS - Happy Mother's Day

Trying my best to recover from an injury I had causing lots of pain and was hard to make cards laying down so went missing for a bit on card making, so please bare with me while I get back to 100% and getting there to catch up to speed.

Moving on to better things, joining this week's MFTWSC226 over at MFT Card Challenges along with SSS Work It Wednesday April 2015 to incorporate something yellow and joining Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge with "Anything Goes".
Here is my card:
Got some new stuff so decided to play and came up with this card for Mother's Day since it's coming around the corner and need to get a move on it. Here I started with Blueprints 13 along with some Grout Gray card stock.

Next, I used one of the new colors I received called Summer Splash along with Simply Circle Background and went with a tone on tone look.
Colored in these gorgeous tulips from the set: Spring Tulips using my copic markers and than went on to create this tag. Die cut a stitched tag in white and than used the same tag to cut a smaller portion using Tickled Pink

Pulled out my stitched scallop border die and used it on the pink to give it a decorated edge look. For the sentiment, I used the set: Smitten with You since I wanted to create a Mother's Day card. Added some hemp and clear button to finish off this card.

As always, if you haven't already checked out the challenge sites, go check them out to see all the wonderful ideas and inspiration.
