Happy Days using Camping Friends

Back today with another birthday card. This one was created for my grandson who I can't believe turned 5 years old. Over the years, I've been teaching him how to stamp and he seems to love sequins, so when he saw the card, he said to add some sequins inside the tent so the critters have some light as it sparkles.

He loved the scene with the critters from the Camping Friends set along with the butterflies from the Blissful Butterflies from Pretty Pink Posh. In fact, he asked me to add more butterflies and in different colors.

Here is my card:
To create this card, I started off by doing some ink blending for the sky directly onto the base using Salty Ocean distress ink. From there, I used the large scallop from the Stitched Borders 2 collection and did some ink blending on top of the scallops, but than decided I may want them just in white, so I die cut two more scallops.

When putting the scallops side by side, I thought it had a nice contrast, so I used all four scallops to create the clouds. What do you think?
Can you tell I love these Scallop Borders since I keep creating hills with them and using on several cards. Since I couldn't find my green cardstock, I figured to do some ink blending along with some Jelly bean ink from SSS. Added some fun foam underneath the top hill to give it some dimension.

Than I had some fun coloring in all of these cute little images using my copic markers along with the Coordinating die which makes it fast and easy to cut out. To add a little more detail to the butterflies, I added some dots using a white sharpie onto the wings of the butterfly.

The final touch was to add some Sparkling Clear Sequins in both 4mm and 6mm along with the sentiment which I embossed using some white embossing powder from Ranger.

Will be back with some Halloween ideas
