Autumn Birthday Celebration

I've been playing around with some new Pretty Pink Posh products that she just released and in love with all of it. I just wish I didn't have a cold right now so I could play more. Wondering if I should have done the flu shot.

Moving on to fun stuff, I decided to make this sunflower card for a friend of mine who loves nature, mainly autumn. Plus, I didn't want to miss out playing over at Seize the Birthday where this week they have a topper of "Splatters".
Here is my card:
For this card, I couldn't resist but to use the new Storybook Two Die which I absolutely love with all the detailed stitching, so I decided to make a shaker card out of it.

I took an A2 size cardstock and placed the Storybook Two Die in the center and than I grabbed the stitched rectangle from my Blueprints 20 and ran both through the big shot to create the white frame.

Next, I took the 3 little squares and rectangle and blended some Jellybean ink (SSS). To add a bit more color, I used my white sharpie along with an orange marker to randomly add dots.
Since I love the 4mm clear droplets so much, I placed several of them around and glued into place. Added the sentiment from the set called: Happy and Smile (SSS) along with a gold bow using the Twine and Bows Die , another favorite die of mine. Next, I added these gorgeous 4mm Autumn Harvest sequin mix to finish the shaker.

To create the sunflowers, I used the Gerbera Daisy die using White, Lemon Chiffon, and Lemon Drop card stock. The leaves are from the Upsy-Daisy die set where I added some color using my copic markers.

As always, if you haven't checked out the challenge, please stop over to check out all the inspiration.
