Here is my card:
I love this little image from the stamp set: My Hero and thought it would be perfect for my little grandson on his upcoming birthday. I started with Blueprints 15 and Kraft card stock as my base since I love the stitching around it.
Pulled out this cute DSP paper called: Typeset (SU) and used the grid pattern which worked out perfect for masculine theme. First time using this paper and first time using the stamp set, so another card done towards my goal. My grandson said he wants me to color the dragon from the set You Blow Me Away next.
Here I used Night shift Blue and combined it with Cherry Crisp cardstock and added some stars using Lemon Drop card stock. Once again, I did use my Copic Markers to color this guy in and was writing down the color combinations to add to the post but it appears my grandson got to it first and used dark markers to color over my notes.
He loves to play with all of my stuff and even knows to clean the stamp after stamping and only 3 years old but he pulled out his big markers when I wasn't looking and saw paper so he figured he could do his coloring. At least this is what he told me when I asked how he got the paper. Now he wants his art on the wall...so cute of him.
Don't forget to check out the Birthday Bash the Sugar Pea Design is having since it has so much inspiration as well as their sketch challenge (if you haven't already).
